Tour de Fort - 2010
Come join us on Sunday, August 15, 2010 to ride in the longest running bicycle tour in Jefferson County. The annual Tour de Fort Bicycle tour, sponsored by the Jefferson County Bicycle Club, offers multiple ride distances, a free chicken dinner after the event, well marked routes on low traveled roads, fantastic rest-stops and SAG support.

2009 SUMMARY
Advocacy Work
1. Great participation in getting the Glacial Heritage Area (GHA)resolution passed / supported by the Jefferson County Board and the Department of Natural Resources.
2. Participated in GHA Jefferson County Board meeting, two Trek Bicycle Corporation meetings, DNR meeting and regular GHA meetings.

Ride Summary:
This ride leaves from Riverfront Park in Jefferson at 7:30AM every Wednesday morning, and is anywhere from 20 to 30 miles, with a different route each time, and the ride is typically finished by 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.
